The real estate report of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman revealed that 1,232 real estate transactions were registered during the month of May, with a total value exceeding 1.75 billion dirhams, with a remarkable growth estimated at 42.5%, compared to last April.
Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, said that the highest sales value was recorded in “Al Jurf Industrial 2”, at 157 million dirhams, explaining that the Ajman real estate market achieved record numbers during the month of May, and maintained its upward momentum and performance, as Trading volume reached 1.3 billion dirhams, out of a total of 1,002 trading transactions. He added that the performance of the real estate sector and the strong indicators that have been recorded since the beginning of this year reflect the solidity and competitiveness of this vital sector, and confirm the extent of investors’ confidence and preference to invest in the Emirate of Ajman.
He confirmed that the month of May witnessed the recording of 170 mortgage transactions, with a total value exceeding 308 million dirhams, with the highest mortgage value recorded at 45 million dirhams in the “Al Jurf Industrial 3” area. He explained that the “Yasmeen” neighborhood came at the top of the list of the most popular neighborhoods.
