Real estate transactions in Dubai last week recorded AED 12.88 billion through 3,982 deals. 2,928 sales were recorded at a value of AED 10.43 billion, 866 mortgage deals at a value of AED 1.86 billion, and 188 donations at AED 592 million.
The weekly sales deals were distributed as follows: 373 land sales, 2,362 residential unit sales, and 193 building sales, while the mortgage deals were distributed as follows: 201 land mortgages, 620 residential unit mortgages, and 116 building mortgages.
Business Bay topped the list of areas in terms of sales value, with AED 708 million resulting from 214 transactions, followed by the Dubai Water Canal area with 13 transactions worth AED 593 million, then Me’aisem 2 with 50 transactions worth AED 566 million, Dubai Hills area with 166 transactions worth AED 538 million, then Dubai Marina with 88 transactions worth AED 439 million.
Last week, the market witnessed the sale of a plot of land in the Dubai Water Canal area for AED 421 million, a plot of land in Dubai Marina was sold for AED 240 million, in addition to the sale of an off-plan villa in Palm Jumeirah for AED 102 million.
