Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department last week amounted to AED 14.4 billion, resulting from 4,635 transactions, as the department witnessed the registration of more than 3,542 sales worth AED 9.04 billion, 868 mortgage transactions worth AED 3.24 billion, and 225 gift transactions worth AED 1.18 billion.
The weekly sales transactions were distributed as follows: 311 land sales, 2,974 residential unit sales, and 257 building sales, while mortgage transactions were distributed as follows: 207 land mortgages, 738 residential unit mortgages, and 113 building mortgages.
Burj Khalifa came in first place in terms of sales value with AED 550 million resulting from 134 deals, followed by Business Bay with 197 deals worth AED 421 million, Bu Kadra with 204 deals worth AED 412 million, Al Yefra 1 with 94 deals worth AED 391 million, and Dubai Marina with 129 deals worth AED 365 million.
Last week, the real estate market witnessed the sale of a plot of land in Al Mamzar for AED 99 million, in addition to the sale of two villas off-plan in the World Islands area, the first for AED 87 million and the second for AED 68 million, while an apartment under construction in Dubai Marina was sold for AED 48 million.
