Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department recorded AED 17.4 billion last week through 5,604 transactions, with the department recording more than 4,482 sales worth AED 14.1 billion, 854 mortgage transactions worth AED 2.9 billion, and 126 gift transactions worth AED 428 billion.
The weekly sales transactions were distributed to include 502 land sales, 3,375 residential unit sales, and 571 building sales, while mortgage transactions were distributed to include 189 land mortgages, 644 residential unit mortgages, and 108 building mortgages.
Ghadeer Al Tayer area came in first place in terms of sales value with AED 1.5 billion through 95 deals, followed by TECOM SITE A with 4 deals worth AED 760 million, then Burj Khalifa area with 83 deals worth AED 673 million, followed by Airport City area with 229 deals worth AED 649 million, and fifth was Wadi Al Safa 5 area with 125 deals worth AED 566 million. The real estate market witnessed the sale of a commercial plot of land in TECOM SITE A area worth AED 720 million, and the sale of another plot of land in Al Yalayis 1 area worth AED 471 million, and a residential apartment was sold off-plan in Dubai Marina area for AED 101 million.
