Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to more than 2.2 billion dirhams, completed through 895 transactions. The department witnessed the registration of 717 sales worth 1.75 billion dirhams, including 64 sales of land, 527 sales of housing units, and 126 sales of buildings.
Wadi Al Safa 5 topped the sales in terms of value with 217 million dirhams through 53 deals, and Ras Al Khor First Industrial Zone came second with a value of 176 million dirhams resulting from 70 deals, and third was the Business Bay area with 172 million dirhams through 53 deals.
Mortgages recorded a value of 216 million dirhams, carried out through 101 transactions, including 23 mortgages for land, 60 mortgages for residential units, and 18 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed the recording of 77 donations worth 238 million dirhams.
