Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to more than 2.26 billion dirhams, through 907 deals.The department witnessed the registration of 685 sales worth AED 1.65 billion, including 77 land sales, 576 residential unit sales and 32 building sales.
Wadi Al Safa 5 area topped sales in terms of value with AED 153 million through 28 transactions, followed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area with a value of AED 108 million through 43 transactions.
A plot of land in the Dubai Waterfront area was sold for AED 97 million, covering an area of 161,000 square feet, equivalent to AED 600 per foot. Mortgages recorded AED 538 million through 185 transactions, including 39 land mortgages, 134 residential mortgages, and 22 building mortgages. 34 donations were recorded for AED 72 million.
