Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to 2.43 Billion Dirhams, completed through 980 transactions. The department witnessed the registration of 758 sales worth 1.95 Billion Dirhams, including 68 sales of land, 628 sales of housing units, and 62 sales of buildings.
The Palm Jumeirah area topped sales today in terms of value with 160 Million Dirhams through 9 deals, and the Wadi Al Safa 5 area came second with a value of 120 Million Dirhams resulting from 36 deals, and third was the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area with 108 Million Dirhams through 51 deals. Mortgages recorded a value of 359 Million Dirhams, carried out through 187 transactions, including 48 mortgages for land, 109 mortgages for residential units, and 30 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed the recording of 35 donations worth 122 Million Dirhams.
