Real estate transactions in Dubai yesterday recorded AED 2.46 billion through 880 transactions. 746 sales were recorded at a value of AED 1.68 billion, including 49 land sales, 582 residential unit sales and 115 building sales. Al-Yafra 1 topped the sales areas in terms of value with AED 262 million through 84 transactions, followed by the Business Bay area with a value of AED 96 million through 50 transactions, then the Bu Kadra area with AED 95 million through 47 transactions, and fourthly, Palm Jumeirah with 69 transactions worth AED 67 million.
The real estate market recorded a sale deal for an off-plan apartment on the Dubai Water Canal for AED 58 million, with an area of 9,313 square feet, or AED 6,281 per square foot. Mortgages recorded AED 675 million through 118 transactions, including 38 land mortgages, 67 residential mortgages, and 18 building mortgages. 16 donations were recorded at a value of AED 107 million.
