Yesterday, real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department recorded more than 2.5 billion dirhams, completed through 843 transactions.
The department witnessed the registration of 642 sales worth 1.99 billion dirhams, including 61 sales of lands, 516 sales of residential units, and 65 sales of buildings. The Business Bay area topped sales in terms of value with 420 million dirhams through 30 deals, followed by the Dubai Hills area with a value of 212 million dirhams resulting from 102 deals, and thirdly the Wadi Al Safa 5 area with 152 million dirhams through 43 deals. Mortgages recorded a value of 373 million dirhams, carried out through 128 transactions, including 33 mortgages for land, 73 mortgages for residential units, and 22 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed the recording of 73 donations worth 146 million dirhams.
