2.81 Billion Dirhams of Dubai Real Estate Transactions in a Day

Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department amounted to 2.81 billion dirhams, completed through 760 transactions. The department witnessed the recording of 542 sales worth 1.44 billion dirhams, including 64 sales of land, 435 sales of residential units, and 43 sales of buildings.

The Palm Jebel Ali area topped sales in terms of value with 131 million dirhams through 5 deals, and the Rain City area came second with a value of 99 million dirhams resulting from 25 deals, and third was the Palm Deira area with 71 million dirhams through 8 deals, and fourth was the Dubai Marina area through 30 deals with a value of 65 million dirhams.

The Dubai real estate market witnessed the sale of a residential apartment in the Burj Khalifa area for 16 million dirhams, and another apartment in the Palm Jumeirah area was sold for 15 million dirhams. The mortgages recorded a value of 1.11 billion dirhams, completed through 166 transactions, including 47 mortgages for land, 92 mortgages for residential units, and 32 mortgages for buildings, the most notable of which is a mortgage deal for a commercial plot of land in the “Tecom Site A” area worth 495 million dirhams.
