Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to 2.82 billion dirhams, through 824 deals.
The department witnessed the registration of 636 sales worth AED 2.1 billion, including 90 land sales, 497 residential unit sales, and 49 building sales. Wadi Al Safa 2 area topped sales yesterday in terms of value with AED 193 million through 19 deals, followed by Meisem 2 area with AED 160 million resulting from 13 deals, Al Yufrah 1 area in third place with AED 152 million through 3 deals, and Al Habiya 4 area in fourth place with 16 deals worth AED 122 million.
Yesterday, the Dubai real estate market witnessed the sale of a residential plot of land in the Al Yufrah 1 area for 148 million dirhams, and a residential apartment under construction in the Dubai Water Canal area was sold within the “Eden House The Canal” project for 25 million dirhams.
The value of mortgages amounted to 575 million dirhams, through 143 transactions, including 34 mortgages for lands, 128 mortgages for residential units, and 27 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed the registration of 45 donations worth 152 million dirhams.
