Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to more than 2.86 billion dirhams, through 905 deals. The department witnessed the registration of 651 sales worth 1.76 billion dirhams, including 76 sales of lands, 530 sales of residential units, and 45 sales of buildings.
The Palm Jebel Ali area topped sales yesterday in terms of value, with AED 162 million, through 6 deals. The Jumeirah Village Circle area came in second place, with a value of AED 102 million, resulting from 94 deals. The Al Yefra 1 area came in third place, with AED 99 million, through 20 deals. The Burj Khalifa area came in fourth place, with 16 deals, with a value of AED 89 million.
Mortgages recorded a value of AED 834 million, through 199 transactions, including 39 land mortgages, 309 residential unit mortgages, and 15 building mortgages. The market also witnessed the registration of 55 donations worth AED 271 million.
