Real estate transactions in Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to AED 2.93 billion, through 1020 transactions.The department witnessed the registration of 803 sales worth AED 1.92 billion, including 87 land sales, 684 residential unit sales, and 32 building sales.
The Bukadra area topped sales in terms of value, with AED 129 million, through 68 transactions, followed by Dubai Hills area with AED 114 million, resulting from 13 transactions, and Burj Khalifa area in third place with AED 98 million, through 30 transactions, and Dubai Marina area in fourth place, through 29 transactions, worth AED 74 million.
The real estate market recorded a deal to sell a commercial plot of land in the Dubai Water Canal area, worth AED 70 million, covering an area of 6,706 square metres, in addition to the sale of a ready villa in the Dubai Hills area, within the “Club Villas” project, worth AED 11 million, consisting of four bedrooms and a hall, and covering an area of 313 square metres.
Mortgages recorded a value of AED 857 million, through 179 transactions, including 61 mortgages for land, 106 mortgages for residential units, and 16 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed the registration of 38 donations worth AED 158 million.
