Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department yesterday amounted to more than AED 3.64 billion, through 997 transactions. The department witnessed the registration of 806 sales worth AED 2.96 billion, including 54 land sales, 638 residential unit sales and 114 building sales. The Business Bay area topped sales yesterday in terms of value with AED 784 million through 33 transactions.
The Al Yefra 1 area came in second place with a value of AED 204 million resulting from 64 transactions. The Dubai real estate market recorded at the beginning of yesterday’s trading the sale of a residential plot in the Business Bay area for AED 650 million, with the total area of the plot exceeding 333 thousand square feet, in addition to the sale of a residential apartment off-plan in the same area within the “VELA by OMNIYAT” project for AED 42 million, and a ready villa was sold in the Jumeirah Bay area for AED 40 million. Mortgages recorded a value of AED 488 million through 169 transactions.
