Real estate transactions in the Dubai market recorded AED 16.3 billion in one week, resulting from 5,743 transactions, according to data from Dubai REST, the Dubai Land Department’s online application.
Sales reached AED 11 billion, resulting from 4,694 transactions. The highest value was in Business Bay, with AED 1.1 billion generated through 491 transactions. Jumeirah Village Circle came in second place with approximately AED 722 million generated through 471 transactions. Dubai Investments Park II came in third with AED 476 million generated through 263 transactions. Wadi Al Safa 4 came in fourth place with sales reaching AED 426 million generated through 185 transactions. Burj Khalifa came in fifth place with AED 354 million generated through 50 transactions.
Mortgages generated AED 4.32 billion through 837 transactions. The Beach came in first place with AED 1.14 billion generated through a single transaction. City Walk came in second place with AED 1.1 billion generated through a single transaction. Jumeirah First came in third place with approximately AED 356 million generated through a single transaction. Al Barsha First came in fourth place with mortgages worth AED 128 million generated through four transactions. Jumeirah Village Circle came in fifth with AED 115 million generated through 66 transactions. As for donations, they reached AED 1 billion through 212 transactions. The Burj Khalifa area came in first place with AED 226 million through 50 transactions. Jumeirah Bay came in second place with approximately AED 165 million through one transaction. Satwa came in third place with AED 150 million resulting from two transactions. Palm Jumeirah came in fourth with approximately AED 54 million through two transactions. Jumeirah Golf Estates came in fifth with AED 48 million through two transactions.
On a daily basis, Friday, real estate transactions generated approximately AED 1.76 billion through 884 transactions. These included sales worth AED 1.5 billion through 763 transactions, approximately AED 194 million in mortgages through 99 transactions, and finally, donations worth AED 66 million resulting from 22 transactions.
