The number of buildings completed in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, during the third quarter of last year, reached 6459 buildings.
According to the data of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, the completed buildings were distributed as follows: 4620 buildings in Abu Dhabi, 1662 buildings in Al Ain and 177 buildings in Al Dhafra.
The number of new buildings completed reached 5871 buildings, including 4,205 buildings in the Abu Dhabi area, 1,503 in Al Ain area, and 163 buildings in Al Dhafra.
The number of new construction additions completed reached 208 construction additions, including 94 construction additions in the Abu Dhabi area, 110 construction additions in Al Ain area and 4 building additions in Al Dhafra area, and modification or other procedures were made on 380 completed buildings.
The number of building permits granted in the third quarter of the Egyptian year in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi reached 2,609 licenses, including 1,909 licenses in the Abu Dhabi region, 545 licenses in Al Ain area and 155 licenses in Al Dhafra. The number of building permits for new buildings in Abu Dhabi reached 1837 licenses, of which 1285 licenses are in the Abu Dhabi area, 412 licenses in Al Ain area and 140 licenses in Al Dhafra area.
The number of additional licenses reached 149 licenses, including 97 licenses in the Abu Dhabi region, 46 licenses in the Al Ain region, and 6 licenses in Al Dhafra region.
The number of “Modification” licenses reached 623 licenses, including 527 licenses in the Abu Dhabi region, 87 licenses in the Al Ain area and 9 licenses in the Al Dhafra region.
With regard to the number of building permits, depending on the use of the building and the area, the number of building permits for a residential purpose was 1413 licenses, including 972 licenses in the Abu Dhabi area, 369 licenses in the Al Ain area, and 72 licenses in Al Dhafra area.
The number of building permits for a commercial purpose reached 628 licenses, including 560 licenses in the Abu Dhabi area, 60 licenses in Al Ain area, and 8 licenses in Al Dhafra region.
The number of licenses to build for an industrial purpose reached 180 licenses, including 132 licenses in the Abu Dhabi region, 39 licenses in the Al Ain area, and 9 licenses in Al Dhafra region. While the number of building permits for public facilities reached 244 licenses, including 155 licenses in the Abu Dhabi region, 38 licenses in Al Ain area, and 51 licenses in Al Dhafra region.
The number of building permits for an agricultural purpose reached 64 licenses, of which 31 licenses were in the Abu Dhabi region, 18 licenses in the Al Ain area and 15 licenses in the Al Dhafra region, and the number of licenses for other purposes reached 80 licenses.
