7 Billion Dirhams Sharjah Real Estate Trading during January

The volume of real estate transactions in Sharjah reached AED 7 billion during January 2025, while the total number of transactions reached 11,116 transactions, while the total volume of the area traded in sales transactions reached 10.4 million square feet during the same month.

1.1 billion dirhams mortgage transactions

The monthly statistical data issued by the Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah explained that the total transactions carried out during the month of January 2025 reached 11,116 transactions, where the number of sales transactions reached 1246 transactions, representing 11.2% of the total number of transactions, while the number of mortgage transactions reached 677 transactions, accounting for 6.1% of the total transactions and a value of 1.1 billion dirhams, and the number of initial contract transactions reached 2,817 transactions by 25.3%, while the number of transactions of certificates of statements on property reached 4,177 transactions by 37.6%, and the number of title deeds transactions reached 2,199 transactions, accounting for 19.8% of the total number of transactions.

Sales transactions in 114 regions

Sales transactions took place in 114 areas distributed over various cities and regions of Sharjah, and these properties included residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural land. With regard to the type of property in circulation, 651 space land was traded, while the number of unit transactions reached 332 transactions, while the built land transactions amounted to 263 transactions.

The highest deal

The Muwaileh Commercial Zone recorded the highest real estate deal concluded in Sharjah last January on a built-up land worth AED 46.5 million. The warehouse land area also recorded the highest mortgage transaction recorded during the same month on built land worth 330 million dirhams.

1132 sales transactions in Sharjah

The total sales transactions in the city of Sharjah reached 1,132 transactions, while the Muwaileh commercial area continued to be issued to the list of the highest areas in the number of sales transactions with 179 transactions, followed by the “Houshi District” area with 98 transactions, then the Al-Khan area with 91 transactions, and the “Umm Fenin” area with 76 transactions.

As for the most traded areas in the volume of cash circulation, the Muwaileh commercial zone topped a trading value of AED 239.4 million, followed by Al-Saja Industrial with 187.9 million dirhams, then the Umm Fenin area with 141.3 million dirhams, then the “Houshi District” area with 109.7 million dirhams. In the central region, the total sales transactions reached 77, most of which were concentrated in the industrial area with 35 transactions, which was also the highest area in trading volume with 19.9 million dirhams.

While 23 sales transactions took place in the city of Khorfakkan, where the areas of “Al-Harai Industrial District” and “Hayawa 4” were topped by 4 transactions each. While the “Gharb District” region came as the highest region in terms of cash circulation of 8.7 million dirhams. In the city of Kalba, 13 sales transactions were made, led by the “Al-Tarif 5” area with 4 transactions, and the “Al-Tarif 4” area was the highest area with a cash circulation volume of 2 million dirhams.
