The Emirate of Abu Dhabi recorded a record growth in the volume of real estate transactions for the year 2023, reaching a value of 87.1 Billion Dirhams, according to what was stated by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center, affiliated with the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi.
The Center announced an increase in the number of buying and selling transactions to reach 15,653 transactions, an increase of 73.7% compared to the same period in 2022, and the total value of these transactions reached 61 Billion Dirhams, an increase of 159.5% compared to the same period in 2022.
The center’s data recorded an increase in buying, selling, and mortgage transactions in the emirate by 12.2% compared to 2022. These results were achieved from 22,751 real estate transactions, an increase of 19.5% over the transactions recorded in 2022.
The center’s data showed an increase in the number of local and non-resident investors during the year 2023, as the total number of new local investors reached 9,448, an increase of 71%, compared to 2022, and the number of non-resident investors increased to 1,098 investors, an increase of 175%, which reflects The continued prosperity witnessed by the emirate’s real estate sector.
