Aldar Sells a Palace in Faya Saadiyat for AED 400 Million, the Most Expensive Home in Abu Dhabi.

Aldar announced the completion of a record-breaking AED 400 million sale of an ultra-luxurious eight-bedroom mansion in Faya Saadiyat, an exclusive waterfront residential complex located on one of the last plots allocated for villas on Saadiyat Island. This makes it the most expensive home ever sold in Abu Dhabi.

The company stated: “This transaction reflects the continued growth of Abu Dhabi’s luxury real estate market, driven by strong demand from high-net-worth individuals, long-term residents, and international investors. It follows Aldar’s AED 137 million sale of a penthouse unit in Topu Residences Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island.”

The company added: “Saadiyat Island has cemented its position as the most attractive destination in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which currently has a population of over 4 million. During the first half of 2025, Aldar recorded sales worth AED 5 billion on Saadiyat Island, reflecting the exceptional interest from local and international buyers in this distinctive destination.”

Foreigners accounted for 86% of all buyers, 46% of whom were UAE residents and 40% were non-residents. Russia, France, the United Kingdom, China, and the United States topped the list of nationalities purchasing real estate on the island.

Faya Saadiyat Palace, located directly on the shores of Saadiyat Island and within the award-winning Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, offers the highest standards of luxury and the largest residential property on the island, covering 6,561 square meters. This exceptionally designed luxury home combines architectural sophistication with complete privacy and panoramic views of the Gulf and lush green spaces.
