The Real Estate Registration Department in the Emirate of Sharjah, at its headquarters, concluded a memorandum of cooperation with the Municipal Council of the city of Khor Fakkan.

The memorandum was signed by Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Real Estate Registration Department in the Emirate of Sharjah, and Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Khor Fakkan, in the presence of Abdul Aziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Real Estate Registration Department, Suhail Al Naqbi, Vice President of the Municipal Council of Khor Fakkan, and a number of officials from sides.
This memorandum comes within the framework of allowing the Municipal Council of Khor Fakkan to view and inquire about the real estate data of the persons inquired about by it, through the electronic service (Web Service), where customers in the city will be able to extract the property statement certificate directly from the municipal council building without the need to visit Department building.
The department will provide a detailed explanation of how to use the system to the municipal council, which authorizes whomever it deems appropriate among its officials and employees, and gives it the authority to submit requests for property inquiries electronically after notifying the department of the names of the authorized persons.
In this context, Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi said: “The electronic link project between the department and the Municipal Council of the city of Khor Fakkan aims to achieve digital integration between the two parties, enhance cooperation between them, and provide an integrated business system that motivates investors to benefit from growth opportunities in the real estate market in Khor Fakkan, in addition to providing a unified database that makes it easier for entrepreneurs and city residents to obtain easy and smooth real estate services away from centralization, thus saving time and effort, and reflecting positively on the level of services provided to all residents of the city.”
Al Shamsi pointed out that the number of electronic certificates for reporting and inquiring about property in 2023 with entities with which cooperation agreements were signed reached 24,577 certificates, which means that the department was able, through this service, to shorten the procedure and time for a large number of customers and beneficiaries.
