Arada has awarded two major contracts worth AED 1.48 billion for the construction of Sequoia and Saro, the final two phases of the Green Path community with a gross sales value of AED 9.5 billion in the Al Suyoh suburb of Sharjah.
The contract to build 428 homes in the Sequoia neighborhood, worth 650 million dirhams, was awarded to Pivot Engineering and General Contracting Company, based in Abu Dhabi, which is also responsible for building Kaya, the second phase of the Masaar community. The second contract, worth 830 million dirhams, was also awarded to build 597 residential units in Saro, the sixth and final phase of Masaar, is being built by Intermass Engineering and Contracting, a Sharjah-based contracting company, which previously built part of Sendian, the first completed residential phase in Masaar, and is currently building Robinia, the third phase in this modern community.
Ahmed Al Khashibi, Group CEO at Arada, said: “We are pleased to award these key contracts at an ideal time, ensuring that the Masaar community is delivered with high efficiency and an exceptional level of quality that we promised our customers from the beginning.” He added: “Since launching this innovative community more than three years ago, our buyers and investors have witnessed a significant increase in the value of their homes, and we are committed to continuing the success story.” Construction work will begin immediately on Sequoia and Saro, which are expected to be delivered by the summer of 2026. With the award of the latest contracts, the number of homes under construction in Masaar rises to 2,570, with 430 homes delivered within the first phase at the end of last year. The second and third phases of the Kaya and Robinia path, which include 986 homes, are expected to be completed within the next few months.
Masaar includes 3,000 luxury villas and country homes, distributed among six gated neighborhoods linked by a green central axis dotted with more than 70,000 trees, and the entire community is scheduled to be delivered in 2026. The Masaar community is located in the growing Al-Siyuh suburb, and close to the city of Tilal, the Sharjah Grand Mosque, Arada Project 1, and Nasma Residences. Masar is distinguished by its strategic location, with easy access to Emirates Road and Maliha Road. It is also no more than a 15-minute drive from Sharjah International Airport, and 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
