The number of buildings completed in Dubai during the first seven months from the beginning of this year 2024 until the end of last July amounted to 1,536 buildings, and villas in their two categories: private and investment, accounted for 85.5% of the total.
According to the latest data from the Dubai Statistics Center – Digital Dubai, last March was the month with the highest number of buildings completed, with 314 buildings, while April was the month with the lowest number, with 152 buildings.
The number of buildings completed in January was 201, the following month 225, in March 314, in April 152, in May 172, during June 225, and in July 247.
The largest share
Private villas were the most completed buildings, with 892 buildings in 7 months, representing 58%, followed by investment villas, with a 27.5% share, representing 425 buildings. Villas, in their private and investment categories, represent about 85.5% of the total buildings completed in the emirate for the mentioned period, representing 1,317 villas.
Then came multi-storey buildings, with a share of 7% representing 106 buildings, industrial buildings in fourth place with a share of 4.5% representing 69 buildings, and finally public buildings with 44 buildings, representing 3% of the total.
