The Dubai Land Department, in cooperation with the ThinkProp Institute, issued a new batch of national real estate brokers within the Dubai Real Estate Broker Program during a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.
These brokers represent a key pillar to enhance the competitiveness of the real estate market and consolidate its position as a vital sector that supports the growth of the national economy.
This achievement comes in line with the directives of the wise leadership and based on a vision based on integration and partnership between the public and private sectors aimed at empowering citizens, enhancing their competitiveness, and consolidating the sustainability of excellence in the real estate market, which is one of the most important pillars of the national economy.
The ceremony was attended by Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, Eng. Rashid Al Amira, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center, Dr. Adib Al Afifi, Executive Director of the Strategic Real Estate Planning Sector, Ghazi Al Otaibi, Executive Director of the Real Estate Dispositions Sector at Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center, Moaz Maqboub, General Manager of Advanced Real Estate Services Company and a number of executives and department managers from both sides.
Strengthening national cadres
The event included a meeting to discuss ways to enhance the empowerment and qualification of national competencies in the real estate sector through joint initiatives between the Dubai Land Department and the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre to provide advanced training and rehabilitation programs focused on providing participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed and excel in this field, while supporting continuous professional development and encouraging learning and professional development.
During the ceremony, about 500 associates who completed the training program organized by the Think Prob Institute were honored, which aims to develop their skills and qualify them to lead the real estate market effectively and efficiently, reflecting the role of the program in enabling them to enter this vital sector with confidence and advanced skills.
Memorandum of cooperation
A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the Dubai Land Department, represented by Mohammed Al-Badawi, Acting Executive Director of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority in the Department, and Jassim Al-Hosani, Acting Executive Director of ThinkProb Institute. This memorandum reflects the importance of the Dubai Real Estate Broker Program and its pivotal role in qualifying and empowering Emirati nationals, and enhancing their active presence in the real estate market.
The memorandum aims to consolidate the long-spanding bilateral partnership between the Department and the Thinkprop Institute of Advanced Real Estate Services Company, which was an ally in the first phase of the Dubai Real Estate Broker Program. Thanks to its great interest in the program and its ambitious objectives, the Institute has now become an academic sponsor of the program, focusing on developing national competencies through specialized training programs.
The memorandum contributes to enhancing cooperation and joint projects between the two sides, which supports the sustainability of excellence in the real estate sector.
Mohammed Al-Badawi said: “Based on the directives of the wise leadership, we are today celebrating the graduation of a new batch of real estate brokers, in a step that enhances the competitiveness of the real estate market and consolidates its position as a vital sector that supports the growth of the national economy. This graduation comes as a result of the effective cooperation between the Department of Land and Properties in Dubai and the Thinkprop Institute, where more than 500 associates were trained to be part of an advanced real estate system, contributing to achieving the qualitative transformation we aspire to.”

Dr. Adib Al-Afifi stressed that the success of real estate development in the UAE is based on coordination and effective communication between the concerned authorities to promote integration and achieve national goals. He explained that the current real estate indicators reflect clear growth and remarkable prosperity, which highlights the existence of great opportunities that contribute to supporting the development of the sector. “The Dubai Real Estate Broker Program enables citizens to become a major driver in the market, and we are committed to working together at every step to support the achievement of their aspirations locally and globally and to be the best representative of their country in front of international investors,” said Jassim Al Hosani.
