Dubai Land Department Signs 11 Agreements to Advance the Real Estate Sector.

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) signed 11 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with a number of local and international entities on the sidelines of its participation in the IPS 2025 Real Estate Investment Exhibition.

These agreements aim to enhance real estate sector services, achieve transparency, and support women through smart solutions and technological innovations, in line with Dubai’s future vision to become a global hub for sustainable and innovative real estate investment.

Improving the Efficiency and Transparency of Real Estate Transactions in the Emirate

Majid Al Marri, Executive Director of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, signed five cooperation agreements with: Bidbit Real Estate Auctioneers, Actions Auctions, Shori Insurance Brokers, Ecarcom Solutions Information Technology, and the Miami Association of Realtors. These agreements are part of enhancing technological integration, developing auction services, and providing innovative insurance solutions, contributing to enhancing the efficiency and transparency of real estate transactions in the emirate. In the context of enhancing transparency and real estate intelligence, the Department signed a cooperation agreement with BidBayt Real Estate Auctions to link the official rental index approved by the Department with the BidBayt platform, enabling it to display approved index data. This is a qualitative step that enables investors and customers to make decisions based on accurate and reliable data.

Keeping Up with Global Best Practices

The Department also granted a license to Actions to organize real estate auctions in the Emirate of Dubai. The agreement aims to organize and manage real estate auctions in line with global best practices, contribute to stimulating the real estate market, and provide a competitive investment environment.

To support insurance solutions within the rental system, the Department signed a memorandum of understanding with Shouri Insurance Brokers, stipulating the provision of a new service to support the rental sector through innovative insurance solutions that contribute to enhancing confidence and providing financial protection for tenants and owners alike. To enhance sustainability and operational efficiency, the Department signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Ecarcom Solutions. The MoU aims to exchange expertise and resources, develop and implement innovative solutions in the fields of real estate technology, regulatory compliance, enhance environmental sustainability, achieve greater transparency in real estate transactions, and improve the property registration and management process.

The Department also signed a partnership agreement with the Miami Association of Realtors to collaborate on providing consulting services and promoting real estate investment channels.

Strengthening the Role of Women in the Sector

Majida Ali Rashid, Executive Director of the Real Estate Development Sector at the Department, also signed six other agreements with Gulf Vision Real Estate Registration Trustee, Bin Shabib Real Estate Registration Trustee, Al Yalayis Real Estate Registration Trustee, Barnes Middle East and Africa Holding Limited, HRE Real Estate Development, and Innovation Experts Real Estate Training Institute. These agreements aim to outsource real estate services, enhance the role of women in the real estate sector, and provide integrated, high-quality real estate services, supporting the development of the real estate sector in Dubai and raising customer satisfaction. In the community support axis, the department signed an amended annex to a cooperation agreement with Innovation Experts to support the “She is Leadership” program, which the department recently launched. This annex aims to enhance the presence of women in the real estate sector through specialized training and qualification initiatives, including real estate skills development and workshops in brokerage and real estate investment. This is part of the department’s efforts to support national competencies and open new horizons for female entrepreneurs.

Real Estate System

Majid Al Marri said: “These agreements embody the vision of Dubai Land Department to build an integrated real estate system based on innovation, and built on effective partnerships that enhance the sustainability of the sector and increase its competitiveness at the regional and global levels. Our cooperation with a group of partners in the fields of technology, sustainability, and smart services is a true translation of the directives of the wise leadership and supports our strategic objectives of providing a flexible, transparent, and safe real estate environment for investors and society as a whole.”

For her part, Majida Ali Rashid said: “We affirm our commitment to continuing to develop an advanced system that keeps pace with market changes and positions Dubai at the forefront of global cities attracting sustainable real estate investment based on knowledge and innovation. We believe that what we are achieving today is the cornerstone of what Dubai will become in the future as a city of smart, sustainable real estate and a capital of promising opportunities for investors and talent from around the world.”

These partnerships constitute a new impetus towards achieving Dubai’s ambitious development agenda, most notably the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033, by adopting an approach of innovation and integrating roles between institutions, enhancing the emirate’s position as an integrated global hub for future real estate investment.
