Sales of real estate units in the residential and hotel sectors (apartments, rooms and villas) in Dubai since the beginning of 2024 have recorded more than AED 277 billion, resulting from 137,722 transactions, according to data from the emirate’s Land and Property Department.
Residential apartments accounted for the largest share, amounting to AED 222 billion, achieved through 120,206 transactions, equivalent to 80% of the total, while villa/building sales reached AED 48.3 billion through 13,925 transactions, representing 17.4%. Thus, residential sector sales reached AED 270.3 billion (137,722 transactions).
According to data from Dubai Land Department, sales in the hotel sector (apartments and rooms) amounted to approximately AED 6.7 billion, achieved through 3,597 transactions.
It is worth noting that the total sales of the real estate sector from the beginning of 2024 until the last days of October touched the barrier of 432 billion dirhams, resulting from 149,510 transactions. As for mortgages, they reached 146 billion dirhams through 33,450 procedures, while grants achieved 39.4 billion dirhams resulting from 6,940 transactions. Thus, the total transactions of the sector during the same period grew to 614.4 billion dirhams through 189,900 transactions.
