Dubai real estate sales have touched the half-trillion dirham (AED 499 billion) mark since the beginning of 2024, resulting from 172,627 transactions, as previously expected by Al Khaleej.
According to Dubai REST data, sales recorded a remarkable growth in terms of value and number of transactions compared to the entire 2023 by 24.4% and 39% respectively, as last year achieved sales of AED 401 billion through 129,000 transactions.
Mortgages amounted to AED 171 billion achieved through 39,863 procedures. As for donations, they reached AED 49 billion resulting from 8,555 transactions. Thus, the total transactions of Dubai real estate since the beginning of this year until mid-December recorded 719 billion dirhams through 221,045 transactions, compared to 634 billion dirhams resulting from 166,400 transactions, an increase of 13.4% in terms of value and 33% in terms of the number of transactions, respectively.
