Dubai Real Estate Transactions Soar to 16 Billion in a Week

Last week, real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department rose to 16 Billion Dirhams through 4,755 transactions. The department witnessed the recording of 3,873 sales worth 10.5 Billion Dirhams, 706 real estate mortgage deals worth 4.69 Billion Dirhams, and 1,768 gift transactions worth 804 Million Dirhams.

The sales transactions during the week were divided into 262 sales of land, 3,313 sales of residential units, and 298 sales of buildings. The mortgage deals were divided into 182 mortgages for land, 505 mortgages for residential units, and 116 mortgages for buildings. The Business Bay region came in the lead in terms of sales value at about one Billion Dirhams, resulting from 246 deals.

The Mushrif area came second with only one deal worth 800 Million Dirhams, third was the Meydan One area with 603 deals worth 644 Million Dirhams, fourth was the Ras Al Khor First Industrial Area with 300 deals worth 642 Million Dirhams, and fifth was the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area with 175 deals worth 505 Million Dirhams.
