SsangYong Engineering and Construction Company said on Monday that it had won two projects from Emaar Properties to build a high-end residential complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, according to the Korean News Agency (Yonhap).
The two projects, with a total cost of $223 Million, aim to establish the upscale residential complexes “Creek Waters 1” and “Creek Waters 2” in Creek Harbour.
“Creek Waters 1” and “Creek Waters 2” contain 450 residential units and 455 residential units, respectively.
The company said that it is able to expand the high-end construction market in Dubai by winning the two projects to build a high-end residential complex, and added that it is looking forward to winning additional projects due to positive reviews about the technology and reputation after successfully completing the construction of the Atlantis Royal Hotel in the Emirate of Dubai.
The company entered the UAE market in 1997, and since then, it has won 14 projects worth 3.900 Trillion won ($2.91 Billion).
