Marriott Residences Al Barsha has opened its doors to visitors, a new addition to Dubai’s thriving hotel sector. Located in the Al Barsha South area, the hotel offers views of famous landmarks such as Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab in Dubai, and its location provides easy access to major tourist attractions and business centers within the city.
The hotel includes 138 professionally designed apartments spread over 24 floors, and features a variety of living options, ranging from exclusive townhouses, to luxurious penthouses and elegant one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Each residence is individually customized according to individual taste and lifestyle preferences.
Marriott plans to open two similar projects in the fourth quarter of the year to introduce a new standard of living in Dubai, to meet the growing demand for upscale housing in Dubai.
Data issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai revealed the entry of about 31.8 thousand new hotel rooms into the emirate’s hotel market over the course of 5 years, in more than 100 hotels of various categories, as the sector continued to attract hotel investments despite the challenges imposed by the “Covid-19” pandemic on the global tourism market. According to the data, the number of hotel rooms in Dubai increased from 118.3 thousand hotel rooms at the end of May 2019 to 150.2 thousand hotel rooms at the end of May 2024, and the number of hotel establishments increased from 721 hotel establishments at the end of May 2019 to 822 establishments at the end of May 2024.
