The project, owned by Wynn Resorts, is the company’s first integrated beachfront resort, located on a picturesque island spanning approximately 62 hectares overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Wynn Resorts is developing the resort in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding. The project is expected to be the first integrated leisure resort in the Middle East and North Africa region. The resort is expected to open its doors to guests in early 2027.
ALEC Engineering and Contracting began the preparation and construction of the resort approximately two years ago, and the tower is expected to reach a height of more than 300 meters in the fourth quarter of this year 2025. More than 5,000 workers work on the site day and night. Wynn Design and Development, which employs more than 90 architects, designers and creative visionaries, is overseeing all aspects of the project’s design and development.
Overlooking its own private white sandy beach and with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, Ras Al Khaimah’s natural landscapes and the Hajar Mountains, Wynn Marjan Island Resort will offer guests a full range of luxurious amenities and experiences.
22 Luxury Villas
The resort will feature 1,542 fully-equipped rooms and suites, including 22 luxury villas that offer privacy and overlook the newly developed waterfront nearby. It will offer guests 22 restaurants, lounges and clubs in specially designed spaces, many of which overlook the pools and beach, and will also feature a dedicated theatre space for a range of visual performances. The resort will also include a 15,000 square metre shopping area occupied by the world’s most famous luxury stores, a five-star health club, a salon, in addition to a 7,500 square metre centre dedicated to holding meetings, conferences and private parties, such as weddings, and will include large areas and terraces on the outer edge.
